SV Double Oh
Racing as Double Oh, James is a 4 year old gelding by Maschino out of Joyeux, trained by Ted Martinovich.
With 4 race starts and 5 trials under his belt (and not a single placing to show for it), he’s swapped the racetrack for the eventing arena, and he’s already making moves, placing 2nd at the recent Brigadoon!
He carries himself like James Bond, but behind the swagger is a sweet, slightly awkward Clark Kent. SV Double Oh is just beginning his eventing journey , and we can’t wait to see him shine in the masterclass spotlight.
With his heart, talent and charm, he is one to watch as he steps into the next chapter of his life.
Platoon
Racing by the same name, Platoon is no stranger to the spotlight. This 10 year old gelding by Playing God out of Oriel boasts an impressive racing career with 54 starts, 5 wins and over $800,000 in prize money.
Bred by Mungrup Stud and trained by Neville Parnham, he’s competed at some of Australia’s biggest races, including the Australian Cup at Flemington, the Railway Stakes, the Perth Cup and the Karrakatta Plate.
Now retired from racing, Platoon has swapped the track for the cross-country course and is already making waves in the eventing world, winning the 80cm leaderboard in 2024. With the cool, confident personality of Clint Eastwood, Platoon brings star power and grit to every arena he enters.
Meet Azarax
Formerly known on the track as Distribute, Azarax is an 11 year old Blackfriars gelding with a heart of gold and the personality of Joey from Friends, lovable, loyal, and jus a little socially unaware!
Bred and trained by top WA trainer Neville Parnham, Azarax trialed 5 times before his one and only race start, where he came last!
But racing’s loss was eventing’s gain. Azarax has since carved out a successful second career, competing at major events including Adelaide and Melbourne 3 day events, along with a string of strong performances across WA.
Meet Moet
Race name Lyrical Discourse, but known to his fans as Moet, this 14 year old Discorsi gelding never made it to the race track. He trialed twice, decided it wasn’t for him and found his true calling in eventing.
Trained by David Harrison, Moet has since become a standout competitor winning major events including the prestigious Diamond class at EITP!
Moet thinks he’s got the calm charisma of former President Obama, but those who know him best will tell you he’s got more Donald Trump energy. Bold, opinionated and always ready to make an entrance!
