This year’s Equestrian in the Park was nothing short of spectacular, and having Boyd Martin join us took it to another level. Not only did Boyd share his incredible knowledge and passion during the clinics and masterclass, but he also thrilled the crowd by riding and competing in the main event.

What a privilege it was to witness Boyd Martin in action at Equestrian in the Park! Boyd delivered an unforgettable performance across both the Diamond Class and the Grand Prix, showcasing the skill and precision that make him one of the world’s top eventing riders.
In the Diamond Class, Boyd thrilled the crowd aboard Boomerang and Happy As, demonstrating power, agility, and absolute harmony with his horses. Each round had the crowd glued to the fence, mesmerised by his competitive spirit.
Then came the Grand Prix, where Boyd partnered with Cartel and Chronicles Van de Viking Z for two breathtaking rides. His ability to combine speed, and finesse under pressure left spectators in awe and set a new benchmark for excitement at Equestrian in the Park.
These rides weren’t just competition—they were a celebration of elite horsemanship and the passion that drives our sport. Thank you, Boyd, for bringing your talent and energy to Perth and making this year’s event truly world-class.
An Unforgettable Masterclass with Boyd Martin at Equestrian In The Park
The Equestrian In The Park Masterclass was an incredible evening of learning, inspiration, and world-class horsemanship. Sponsored by Off The Track WA, the event gave riders and spectators a rare opportunity to learn from Boyd Martin—one of the most accomplished eventing athletes in the world.
Boyd delivered an engaging and insightful session, working hands-on with four talented Off The Track thoroughbreds. In the smaller arena, Tegan Cook rode Platoon alongside Charlee Morton-Sharp on SV Double Ohh, while in the main arena Tegan Cook partnered with Moet and Isobel Menzies-Stevens rode Azarax. Boyd’s ability to adapt his techniques to each horse and rider combination was a true masterclass in versatility and skill.
Adding to the magic of the night, Silva Martin wowed the crowd with her stunning dressage display aboard Penny Hill Park Fascination. Her precision, elegance, and harmony with the horse showcased the artistry and athleticism behind top-level dressage.
One of the evening’s standout moments was the Q&A session between Boyd Martin and Stuart Tinney. Two legends of the sport shared stories, insights, and advice that captivated the audience. Their candid discussion offered a rare glimpse into the mindset of elite riders and left everyone feeling inspired and motivated.
